VeriPic® for Police and Fire Agencies


VeriPic works widely with Public Safety Agencies. Store your photos, video or audio files in a database where retrieval is easy with searches by various criteria such as case number, officer name, description, photo date or subject matter. Other systems require the building of keyword lists ahead of time. This is unnecessary due to VeriPic’s ability to read the plain English descriptions you enter.

VeriPic has the ability to detect changes in digital photos between the time the camera took the picture until the time it reaches the computer. This ability to Authenticate digital photos has earned VeriPic the enviable spot as providers of photo management software to Public Safety Agencies from coast to coast. VeriPic is used to document very serious events from homicides to arsons to death investigations. Use an annotation layer to point out details. The VeriPic system also provides an “Authentic Time Stamp” using a high security hardware time source. This provides your agency with a trustworthy Audit Trail to provide a full Chain of Custody. Other systems that use the computer’s clock instead of a secured time source can’t provide you a reliable Audit Trail equivalent to what VeriPic can. Import wizards are used to ensure uniform data entry and ease of use. Even officers with minimal computer knowledge will breeze through the photo import process.
